Recently refurbished! Cozy, comfortable, well-equipped cottage in the heart of the Scottish Highlands. Excellent base for exploring the area. Large lounge with reclining sofas and chair, log burner, TV with Sky. Large fully-equipped dining kitchen. Double room with ensuite bathroom (shower), twin room, and larger bathroom off hall with rainshower. (No baths). Full central heating and double glazing throughout. Local general store is right behind and excellent pub restaurant across the street. The space Delightful and spacious cottage with large living room with reclining sofas and chair, log burning stove (wood not included), TV with Sky including movie channels. Large fully-equipped dining kitchen with dishwasher, washing machine (no dryer but airers provided), fridge freezer etc. Has everything you'll need. There is one double bedroom (UK standard double bed) with recently refurbished ensuite shower room, and one twin room with two single beds. There is a larger shower room with rain shower off the hall, also recently refurbished to a very high standard. We can put in an extra fold down single bed in the twin room for a fifth guest. This works well for families with 3 children, but might be a squeeze if it's 5 adults. Wifi is available, and there's private gardens and parking. There's central heating throughout the cottage and a log burner (wood not included) you can snuggle round when it gets extra cold. The historic Laroch pub/restaurant is right across the road, and the local Co-op supermarket is right behind, and at the same time, Ballachulish is a sleepy little village on the banks of Loch Leven, and surrounded by spectacular mountains, all of which provides the unusual combination of getting away from it all in the country, while having all the necessary conveniences right on your doorstep. Guest access The cottage and garden (not enclosed) is your home from home, set in the beautiful village of Ballachulish, on the banks of Loch Leven, surrounded by spectacular mountains. The spectacular Glen Coe is just a few minutes drive, Fort William and Ben Nevis is about 25 minutes by car, Oban about 45. It is easy to day trip to Inverness/Loch Ness, the Isle of Mull, Ardnamurchan, Inverary, and even Skye, although that does make for a long day. Other things to note The cottage is fully equipped with hob, oven, microwave, kettle, toaster, washing machine, dishwasher, iron - everything to make you stay comfortable and enjoyable.
