This beautiful home sits at the end of a dead end road in a quiet, family neighborhood overlooking the Nelsonville-York City Schools campus. The Elm is tastefully decorated and fully furnished with everything you’ll need to enjoy your stay including freshly laundered linens and towels, well stocked kitchen essentials with a Keurig coffee maker, fun assortment of games and much more. With 3 bedrooms and 2.5 baths, The Elm can sleep up to 7 comfortably. The layout is open and bright with a full wall of windows in the kitchen/dining area. The living room offers a sectional with an oversized ottoman. Sit back and enjoy your favorite shows on the 65 inch SMART TV. Multiple dining options available with seating for up to 10 at the dining room table, 4 at the kitchen island and additional seating for 6 on the back deck. The open kitchen is fully stocked with pots, pans, dishes, glasses and flatware for all your cooking needs. If you don’t like cooking, there are plenty of restaurants to fit every price point within a 10-25 minute drive. Off the living room is the master suite which offers a king bed, 50 inch SMART TV, access to the back deck and master bathroom. The master bathroom has a double vanity, separate toilet room, closet and walk-in tile shower. Also off the living room is bedroom 1 with a queen bed, 32 inch SMART TV and access to the Jack and Jill bathroom. This bathroom offers a washroom with a double vanity and separate room for the toilet and bathtub with tile surround. Off the living room is a small hallway. Here you will find bedroom 2 with a twin over full bunkbed, a beanbag chair that converts to a full bed, 32 inch SMART TV and access to the Jack and Jill bathroom. Across the hall is the half bath that includes the washer and dryer; at the end of the hall is the door leading to the 2-car garage. Guests will have full access to all of the house with the exception of the basement. The basement door will be locked at all times. The front door and garage doors have smart locks and a custom code will be provided prior to your arrival. Guests may park in the garage, in front of the garage or in the additional parking provided. This is a family neighborhood and the speed limit on the road leading to the house is 10 mph. Be careful of all kids in the neighborhood. The house is located in a quiet residential area adjoining Nelsonville-York City Schools campus, so you will here the typical noise associated with the school. However, this is public property and the playground can be used after school hours and the track can be used for walking when there are not events going on. The house is just 5 miles from Historic Downtown Nelsonville, Hocking College, the Hocking-Aden’s Bike Path and Bailey Trail system, 15 miles from Burr Oak State Park, 16 miles from Lake Hope State Park and 28 miles from Hocking Hills State Park. It is best to travel by car due to limited access to taxis and other services. The house is located approximately: - 3 miles 2 US 33 - 5 miles to Hocking College - 12 miles to Ohio University Athens Campus - 19 miles (30 minute drive) to Hocking Hills State Park. Early check-in/late check-out may be available for an additional fee. In accordance with AirBNB’s Global Party Ban mandate, rentals for parties are strictly banned and occupancy is called at 7 guests. Host reserves the right to reject rental requests for parties. Small gatherings may be approved at host’s discretion. We encourage everyone to socially distance and help reduce the spread of COVID.
