Family Retreat on the coast

Our spacious 3 brm home, completed 2016 is designed for summer family get-togethers. It's private, secluded and elevated location has direct access to the beautiful Weiti River inlet with panoramic views across the bay to Stillwater and the surrounding countryside. Kayak to the boatclub for a wine or take a 2 minute drive to several of the most beautiful beaches in NZ, as well as shopping malls, a movie theatre, bars and cafes. It is also only 30min drive to Auckland CBD! The space The open plan kitchen/dining/lounge is great for summer get-togethers and flow out to a covered lounging deck with gorgeous views & great sunsets on one side, and a sunny, sheltered, lush dining courtyard on the other. Downstairs also has is a large central breakout room with office space, hidden laundry and toy storage and additional fold-out futon sofa for extra guests, with private access directly off the courtyard. In addition to two bathrooms upstairs, there is a loo downstairs. Below the deck is a huge open lawn with a large kids playground. Upstairs are three large bedrooms and two bathrooms. 1 x Queen Bed - Master with large wardrobes and ensuite 2 kids rooms with a king-single bed in each Family bathroom with roll top bath and rain head shower. Portacot available if needed There is plenty of parking with a double garage and room for extra cars or the boat! The road and garage is a short walk from the house along a timber boardwalk surrounded in native vegetation. We have a private studio flat above the garage which we currently tenant. Guest access Private access to the whole property. Other things to note We have a cool cat called Melwin, who loves a good cuddle. He will expect bikkies in his bowl if you don't mind, though if you do mind, the neighbours can attend to him. The private studio above the garage is currently tenanted and they have a dedicated parking space. As it is some distance from the house with native planting separting both dwellings it does not impact on privacy.
