The English Burton Cottage

Unique historic 1880's farmhouse, on Lake Seneca. Get away from it all and spend a week or two in the heart of wine country at this beautiful cottage! Wake up to birds singing and watch the sun set across the lake from the front porch, living room, or dock in the evenings. The cottage is located at Valois Point 12 miles from Watkins Glen, 20 miles from Ithaca and 25 miles south of Geneva on the east side of Lake Seneca. Please note, our rates are based on the number of people in your party. The space This charming cottage is filled with family history, antiques, and hard wood floors. Its location on the lake offers a tranquil private experience. As the cottage is furnished with family antiques, it is not considered child friendly. The main bedroom is on the bottom floor with two additional bedrooms on the second floor up a set of steep Dutch stairs. Guest access Guests have access to the kitchen, dining room, living room, 3 bedrooms, bathroom, front porches, and a dock on Lake Seneca. Other things to note Please note there is an additional charge per person, per night after the first two renters. Refer to the pricing guide for the additional charges. The Cottage owner assumes no responsibility of damage to any of the renter’s property that is brought to the premises. All debris, rubbish and discards must be placed in proper outside containers. The Cottage is on a septic system, therefore only toilet paper should be flushed. Cottage shall be left clean, broom swept with all items back in their original place. The rental cost for the (time period) is $00.00 USD for (number of) people. Understand that your rental rate is based upon the number of people listed in this contract. If you exceed the number listed in this contract we will ask you to leave and you will forfeit the balance of your reservation and security deposit. We require a security deposit and this will be returned to the renter within two weeks after inspection of the rented property. The total amount will be returned minus the cost of any damage beyond any normal wear and tear and or missing household items. A fourteen (14) day notice is required for cancellations. Cancellations that are made more than fourteen (14) days prior to arrival date will incur no penalty. Cancellations that are made within fourteen(14) days of the arrival date will forfeit one half of the security deposit. By signing below, I (we) agree to all terms and conditions of this agreement.
