Maltese town house just outside Valletta

A restored 1800s town house just a few steps away from the picturesque grand harbour and from UNESCO Heritage Site, Valletta. The house has been restored to its pristine condition and is fitted with modern furniture, kitchen, bedrooms, living room and bathrooms. Fully licensed under the Malta Tourism Authority and approved for short stays by the MTA, you are guaranteed a comfortable stay surrounded by all comforts. The space The house is situated in a quiet street in Floriana, only 5 minutes on foot from the capital city Valletta, 1 minute away from all major bus routes and 3 minutes away from the Gozo fast ferry service. The house is very comfortable and contains all the functional modern amenities one needs for his/her stay, including air conditioning in bedrooms, heaters, televisions, wifi, insect screens and a fully equipped kitchen with fridge/freezer, microwave, toaster, washing machine, oven, electric hob and nespresso coffee machine. The house consists of two floors and a basement, with two rooms on each floor. Ground floor: Entrance into hall with open plan fully equipped fitted kitchen/dining. The next room consists of an air-conditioned bedroom complete with computer workspace and cable television. One can also find an independent spare toilet. First Floor: An authentic staircase leads you to a living room with sofa-bed and large wardrobe enjoying a channelled view of the Grand Harbour from its Maltese balcony. This room leads into another air-conditioned bedroom with 160x200 double bed with en-suite facilities and cable television. Basement: At basement level one finds a restored authentic arched cellar which has been expertly converted into a rainforest shower room with large wash hand basin and relaxation/yoga room. All the restorations and furniture purchases are constantly updated, thus enabling you to make use of all modern amenities. Various upgrades are done on a yearly basis in order to continue building on the value one gets when enjoying this property. Walls are regularly repainted, curtains cleaned, new furniture added, air conditioners regularly cleaned etc. In 2020 a large upgrade in the ventilation system was made, ensuring fresh air is always circulating around the house. Also available in the house are 2 televisions with major TV channels and free Wi-Fi connection throughout the entire house. Sanitised bed linen, towels, hand towels, beach towels, blankets, quilts and soap are provided at check-in to each guest. Water and electricity are provided as part of the price and there is no extra or hidden charge for these. Guest access The entire house is only accessible from the main door situated at street level. There are no lifts in the house. Free parking can be easily found just outside the house. Some parking spaces can be used for 150 minutes between 8 am and 5 pm, week days only. The property is not ideal for wheel-chair users or people with mobility issues due to steps. Other things to note We can also provide a cot for infants/young children. The property is not ideal for people with mobility issues due to stairs leading to both bedrooms.
