Michaels Bay Getaway on Manitoulin Island

3 bedroom house that has been upgraded and ready to rent out for your vacation on Manitoulin Island. This property is on a quiet dead end road only 15 mins from the Ferry Dock. Michaels Bay boat launch is just down the road and the Manitou River is across the street. Pets will be considered. House is fully stocked with all necessary cooking essentials. This is a house keeping cottage. Please see rules about housekeeping rules House sits on 3.6 acres of bush and is somewhat remote and peaceful The space The house has three comfortable size bedrooms, a dining area and galley layout kitchen. there is a spacious living room with a pull out couch with double bed. the outside has a new spacious deck and there is plenty of room to park cars, boats, tents or outdoor play. The lot is very quiet This is a whole house on a quiet road therefore dont need to worry about other guests being nearby Guest access Full use of house EXCLUDING basement, garages and bunkie house. A vehicle is needed to get around the island. if you have an ATV you can ride that on the road and the Michaels Bay boat launch is down the road. Providence Bay beach is a 15 min car ride. There are also other lakes close by such as Mindemoya and Manitou and of course Lake Huron. Mindemoya is 10 minutes away A camera is in place in the basement and no access to basement unless extreme emergency that requires access Other things to note This is a housekeeping rental which means you will need to ensure all dishes are washed and put away, garbage is all packed in blue garbage bags and separated for recycling according to the instructions left, floors are swept or vacuumed and place is left tidy as you found it. Outside area is left clean and tidy including wiping down the outside table. Also wiping down counter tops, removing spillage in fridge, stove, dining room table etc. No cigarette butts to be left in yard and any dog poop removed. No garbage left outside not in garbage cans where wildlife can get into it. Please refer to house rules. We will refund $125 of the cleaning fee (If you paid $225- not applicable for the short stay cleaning fee) upon verification that the garbage is properly addressed, or you have taken it home with you, that things are wiped down and cleaned, that the dog poop is removed and that cigarette butts are removed and that the general housekeeping is done. Can offer larger cleaning refunds if you choose to a do a full cleaning or more enhanced cleaning. Please contact for details. Can also offer discounts if you want to bring your own bedding and towels. Please enquire after booking. BBQ is provided for convenience. It is kept in a normal BBQ condition and could require a scrape before using it. Please also scrap it after use and wipe up any spills Please also feel free to reach out if you have special requests or circumstances. I am willing to consider depending on demand. Remember this is a cottage in the bush. Mice can sometimes get inside as will insects if doors and windows left open. Wildlife can also be spotted outside. During the fall when the evenings start to get cool there could be occasional mice that sneak in. We do set traps and try to close off where they get in but one could get through from time to time
