The Ferry House

The Ferry house is a cosy, heritage cottage, right on the banks of the Clarence River in the picturesque village of Chatsworth Island. Right next to a boat ramp, peaceful and quiet only 20 minutes to Yamba, Iluka and Maclean. There is something really special about this place. Absolute river frontage means you can swim, fish or just relax. The huge riverside deck gives comfortable outdoor living in both summer and winter, and the antique claw foot bath gives a fun outdoor bath experience. The space The house has 2 bedrooms, one with a double bed, the other a queen. A double bed futon in the sleepout and the lounge room sofa also folds out to a double bed. The daybed on the deck is another bed option, with a mozzie net if needed. There's a wood heater for winter, a breezy deck and AC for summer. There's a perfect spot down by the river and a mexican style chiminea (outdoor stove) to sit around and enjoy at any time of year. Other things to note This is our holiday home.
