Guest suite w/private entrance and self check-in

Our private suite (attached to home) is nestled on a quiet street in Buckeye just beyond Goodyear and a few minutes to I-10. It’s close enough to drive anywhere, but far enough to the see the stars at night. The suite includes a private entrance, kitchenette, den w/ sofa sleeper, bathroom and bedroom with queen bed. Whether you’re in town for a vacation, visit with family, business or maybe a staycation getaway, we think our suite is the perfect place to call home while you’re away from home. The space A few extra details to help you make your decision... You'll be in the beautiful desert of Arizona, so staying at just the right temperature is extra important. The guest suite has it's own thermostat, allowing you to set the space to your desired temp and comfort level. The living area and bedroom also have ceiling fans for added airflow. The kitchenette is not ideal to cook Thanksgiving dinner, but it has everything you might need for your stay including: mini fridge/freezer, microwave, keurig coffee maker, hot plate, toaster oven, blender, pots and pans, utensils, and anything else needed to make a quick and delicious meal. There is not a formal dining space, but the kitchenette has a small breakfast bar with two bar stools. The bathroom is convenient for everyone with a walk-in shower and bench if needed. The living area includes a sofa with pullout bed that's just right for anyone, but extra perfect for little ones along for the trip. You'll also have a television with antenna for local channels, as well as a firestick for netflix, prime and disney+. The private bedroom includes a comfy queen size bed, two nightstands, alarm clock, full length mirror, dresser, spacious closet and a television with antenna and builtin DVD player. The washer and dryer are located in the main area of our home, but you're more than welcome to use them upon request with a couple hour lead-time, so I can be sure that the washer and dryer are empty and ready for your use. If you're bringing young children, we also have a pack-n-play available for use, as well an umbrella stroller if needed (please let me know ahead of time so I can leave them in the suite for you). There are two parks within less than a mile and well within walking distance that include children's play areas with swings, slides, basketball courts, baseball and soccer fields. If you drive approximately ten minutes in either direction, you'll find shopping and dining of all types. The Goodyear baseball stadium which is home to the Cleveland Guardians and Cincinnati Reds is also a short drive of about 10-15 minutes. If you're flying into Sky Harbor International Airport in Phoenix, we are about a 30 minute drive without traffic, but of course it can be much longer during morning and evening commutes so you'll want to plan accordingly. Other things to note Noise within our home shouldn’t be a huge issue, but we do have two young children so you might hear the cheers, tears, or giggles that come with raising young ones. While the guest suite is at the front of the house and is closed off from the main part of the home, it is still connected and noise travels sometimes so we like to let our guests know ahead of time just in case. We are also located near Luke Air Force Base so you will hear jets from time to time as they head in to land. Night flying is infrequent, but if you happen to hit it while they are in a night flying session, it will usually last Monday-Thursday night, and can go up until 11:30 p.m., although they’re typically done by about 10:30 p.m. As a reminder, this is a no smoking space (this means no tobacco, marijuana, etc. and fees will be assessed if this rule is broken). You're welcome to smoke outside on the street or courtyard area, but please DO NOT smoke inside. Also, I hate to have to say this (but of course it's coming up because it has happened), please do not make any messy arts and crafts projects (oils, paints, glue, etc.), and please do not dye your hair while here. We want this to remain a comfortable and clean space for everyone, but destroying towels and leaving behind super sticky messes or stains won't work for our location. We love the idea and know it's fun, but please reserve those activities for your own homes. We sincerely thank you for your understanding.
