River's Edge cabin is nestled on the hillside amongst the trees and wildlife. Across the quiet road is a path to the beautiful Kickapoo river. Guests can enjoy over 300' of river frontage to fish, canoe, kayak and sight see. Located on the snowmobile trail as well. The space The cabin features a fully stocked kitchen which is open to the cozy living room, with cathedral ceilings and a skylight. Relax in comfy rocking chairs while enjoying the crackle of the fire in the woodburning stove. The bedroom has an inviting queen bed with a skylight above the bed for stargazing. The bedroom also has a large closet and ample windows for a wonderful cross breeze. The bathroom has a tub/shower combo with towels and some toiletries for guests comfort. In the livingroom there is a pull out queen bed with a memory foam mattress for added comfort. Kick back on the huge covered porch in rocking chairs while taking in the wooded scenery and the many varieties of birds. A flagstone pathway leads you to a gathering area where you can enjoy meals, or sit by the firepit. Just below porch is an area to play horseshoes or other yard games. The property is easy to locate and has ample parking. Guest access There is over 8 acres to explore, 5 wooded acres where the cabin is located and an additional 3 acres across the quiet country road where there is over 300' of river frontage for fishing, canoeing kayaking and tent camping. For those of you who enjoy snowmobiling, the trail is across the road. Other things to note Dogs are allowed, however I would prefer if doggies were crated while guests are away. I do provide doggie bags as well for guests to clean up after them.
