Forest Lodge, perfect for family and friends

Welcome to Forest Lodge, our little piece of paradise in beautiful Bayerisch Eisenstein, far from the madding crowds, nestled between the Nationalpark Bayerischer Wald, Grosser Arber and the Sumava Forest. Forest Lodge is a charming house with highspeed WiFi offering plenty of comfort and space for young and old to relax, unwind and spend some quality time together with family, friends or both. The space Our home has a unique rustic, bohemian charm created with up-cycled and renovated furniture. The ground floor is open plan with a cosy living room, spacious dining room and fully-equipped kitchen (stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher, coffee machine, toaster, kettle), opening out to a large wooden terrace on the side of the house. In Winter, light the fire and enjoy dinners, games evenings, films or just long chats around our large dining room table. (Guests are charged a nominal extra fee for firewood). In the Summer, sit out on the terrace with a chilled drink after a day of fresh air and exercise to enjoy the relaxing sound of the stream running along the side of the house, with a view of the Arber. The terrace has a spacious eating area with additional easy chairs to sit and relax. A basic grill is available. Kids can play on the small piece of woodland across the road from the house. One bathroom/toilet is also located on the ground floor. The large hallway also offers plenty of space for shoes, jackets and storage of other outdoor equipment. The washroom has space to hang up wet clothes, a washing machine and tumble drier. Also the perfect feeding and sleeping space for our furry friends. First floor: when you are looking to retreat for some peace and quiet take yourself upstairs to one of our 4 comfortable bedrooms. 2 double bedrooms and 2 (kids) bedrooms with bunk beds and single beds offer ample sleeping space. Three bedrooms have access to the house balcony. A bathroom with bathtub and separate shower, plus a separate WC are also on this floor. Available: Highspeed WiFi throughout the house. Download 103Mbps/ Upload 40Mbps. Desk and monitor for home office (on prior request). A selection of kids toys on first floor, a games cupboard in the living room and a selection of English/German books & magazines to keep you entertained. There are two free parking spots in front of the house. Should you wish to bring a dog, please send us an extra written request. Dogs are restricted to the Ground floor only. Other things to note Self check-in. A day before your arrival we send you the PIN to our keybox to access the house keys. A week before your arrival we send you a Welcome Letter with further information about the house and the surrounding area.
