Description

The accommodation is a small house, made with mostly ecological materials and lovingly furnished and decorated to make your stay as comfortable and pleasant as possible. The cottage is inside our garden, but it is totally independent. The plot has direct views of the Guadarrama National Park and is a very quiet place of spectacular beauty. It is a 5-minute drive from La Pedriza, 20 minutes from Puerto de Navacerrada and 35 minutes from Plaza de Castilla (Madrid) The space The accommodation consists of a ground floor with a living/dining room with a kitchen and a bathroom, and upstairs an attic bedroom with a double bed. This room measures, at its highest point, 1.66 meters, so be careful if you do the tiger jump... On the other hand, downstairs there is a sofa bed, a double bed, and there is no problem, on the contrary, the ceiling is high. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need (glass-ceramic stove, fridge with freezer, microwave, pans, pots, toaster, blender, etc.) and there is always some coffee, infusions, organic honey, panela, oil, vinegar, salt, spices, etc. And in the bathroom there will always be gel, shampoo and hand soap, ecological, natural and artisanal. In the living room there is a Smart TV with Android system, where you can watch movies or series, if you are subscribed to any platform (remember to bring the password); and it also has USB and HDMI inputs, in case you want to bring any of these devices. However, it does not have a TV antenna. And there's no need to fear the cold months, because with the pellet stove the house will be nice and warm. I will explain how to use it, which is very simple, but if you need any help regarding the stove (or anything else), you can count on me without any problem. LEGAL INFORMATION ABOUT THE ACCOMMODATION This accommodation is not offered as a tourist home, but as a temporary rental, in compliance with the Royal Decree 2312/2024, for stays for personal, study, work, medical, family, or other non-touristy reasons. ✅ What this means for you as a guest Simply, upon arrival, it will be necessary to sign a simple contract, indicating that your stay responds to a non-touristy reason. It is not necessary to justify or demonstrate that reason, just record it in the document to that we, as hosts, comply with the regulations. It's a simple legal procedure that doesn't affect your stay, the comfort of the accommodation, or your experience at all. Registration number: ESHFNT00002807800056862800100000000000000000000000007 ********** Guest access The plot measures 840 m2, and there are different areas to be in, so we will leave you all the privacy you want. And if you want me to advise you or recommend routes or places to visit, ask me, I will usually be accessible. In the garden there is a natural pool, which has no chlorine, no salt, nothing... The water is kept clean with plants and biological filters. It's like a river pool, not for swimming lengths (the swimming area is only 4 x 2.5 m), but for cooling off in summer... What is not allowed is to bathe if sun creams have been applied with any type of sunscreen. That is, bathing is only allowed if you don't have any sun cream on as it is a delicate ecosystem and sunscreens can alter it. Anyway, it's a pond or small pool, just to cool off; and also to enjoy the sound of the waterfall, its beauty... The pool does not have a protective fence (so keep this in mind if you come with small children). In fact, it is not a children's pool: although it is small, it is two meters deep, so not even an adult can stand on the bottom. Only on the entrance stairs. In El Boalo and its surroundings you can do many activities: mountaineering, hiking, climbing (La Pedriza is 5 minutes away by car), skiing (in winter and spring), mountain biking, horse riding (there are several horse riding clubs very close to the house), birdwatching or wildlife, etc... And if you prefer cultural visits, there is also plenty to choose from: 3 minutes by car, there is the Castle of Manzanares el Real; 30 minutes to the Monastery of San Lorenzo del Escorial; 45 minutes to La Granja de San Ildefonso… And in 30 minutes you can also reach Plaza de Castilla in Madrid. There are very good restaurants in the area, both in El Boalo and in the surrounding villages, and if you want me to recommend one, tell me, and I'll tell you several options. Other things to note The 724 bus stop is a 10-minute walk away, which goes to Plaza de Castilla in Madrid. And about a 15-minute walk away is the 672 stop that goes to Moncloa, in Madrid. The truth is that, whenever possible, you will take more advantage of your stay in this environment if you come by car. Especially for going to tour mountain areas or forests, or to make a large purchase of food, etc... I recommend it. Because in addition, the town (El Boalo) is half an hour's walk from the house. It is a nice road, and if the weather is good it is a very pleasant and beautiful road; but in winter it may not be so pleasant. Nearby are most of the large supermarkets and also small local businesses, where you can buy what you need for your stay. For organic products, there are several options in the area, as well as all kinds of services.
