Gîte de la Fontaine de Barry

Welcome to our 3-star gite, with 2 bedrooms for a family of up to 5 people. On the Lévézou plateau, close to the Pareloup lakes, 20 km from Rodez and 50 km from Millau, privileged location, 850 m above sea level. The space Ideally located to discover Aveyron and enjoy the lakes of Lévézou, the Gîte de la Fontaine is located in a hamlet of about ten houses where only the inhabitants circulate. Children can come and go without worry on foot, by bicycle, by scooter... The gîte has its own private parking, a small recessed garden to enjoy the outdoors, a fireplace for evenings out of season. This small maisonette is completely independent. The bedrooms are upstairs, the living rooms on the ground floor. The 2 bedrooms are in the attic with exposed beams and stone, it exudes a cozy charm. One bedroom for parents with a double bed and one bedroom for children with 2 beds, plus a pull-out bed if necessary for a third child. The bathroom and toilet separate the 2 bedrooms. The bathroom is equipped with a large shower and a sink. Downstairs, a fully equipped kitchen, living room, dining room with fireplace, TV... The cottage is an old agricultural building that we renovated in 2010-2011. We have preserved the stones of the walls and the beams. Everything else has been redone with natural materials: lime plaster and masonry, solid wood floors, untreated pine paneling, organic paints on plasterboard partitions, insulation with wool from village sheep. The gîte is completely independent. We live in the main house of the old farm and we are thus at your disposal. A path goes around Barry, it will allow you to access the fountain, and the different farm animals that the inhabitants raise. The gîte is equipped with all modern comforts: hot water! induction hobs... dishwasher and washing machine, pyrolysis oven and microwave oven. The teak garden furniture under the arbor will allow you to enjoy lunch on the grass. Duvets on the beds and equipment for young children available: high chair, bed, stroller going in the paths. The heating in the cottage is provided by radiant radiators and a rotating open fireplace wood insert. Wood is provided. If you come to go mountain biking, you can put your equipment in the barn. We will provide you with maps to make great walks of the length you want. The cottage is equipped with an unlimited wired internet connection. We provide a cable to connect you.
