Simple Small Studio · Budget Superhero by BSU
Simple Small Studio · Budget Superhero by BSU
Description
Clean, cozy, and wallet-friendly, this no-frills studio sits in a historic converted home near St. Luke’s, BSU, the Greenbelt, and downtown Boise. It’s not fancy, but it has what you need: a comfy bed, a small kitchen setup, bathroom, and a spot to land between shifts, classes, or exploring. The location does the heavy lifting, not the finishes. If you want sleek and upscale, skip it—if you’re after value and access, this place delivers. Look at "other details" for notes about parking. The space This apartment is part of a 100-year-old Boise home that got turned into a five-plex somewhere in its past life. It’s not trying to be fancy — it’s clean, comfy, and perfect if you care more about location and value than marble countertops. This is a cozy no-frills studio with everything you need in a compact setup. SLEEPING & LIVING -Queen bed -Small table for eating or working -TV for downtime -Kitchenette -Mini fridge -Microwave -Coffee maker -Basic dishes (no stove or cooktop) -Bathroom -Private, locked bathroom just a few steps down the shared hallway THE BUILDING -100-year-old home turned 5-plex with charm and quirks -Prime location means a bit of city/traffic noise -Earplugs provided for light sleepers THE REAL TALK -Clean, simple, and here to save your budget. -It’s an older building with quirks and some traffic noise. -We stock earplugs by the bed for light sleepers -Parking can be tricky, but hit "Other details to note" for more on that. Most guest park just fine. -If you want sleek and high-end, this isn’t that. But if you're after location, walkability, and a place that quietly saves the day without breaking the bank — you’re in the right spot. Other things to note PARKING- There are four first-come, first-served spots along the side and front of the building. Bring one car and try not to play Tetris with the neighbors’ bumpers. If the lot’s full, street parking usually saves the day—especially along Warm Springs Ave and by the cemetery down the block (quiet neighbors over there). On the off chance you park on the street and get a ticket because the lot was packed, snap a pic and we’ll cover it. Fun fact: it’s never actually happened. The area is super walkable, and Lime scooters are scattered everywhere if you’d rather scoot than circle the block. A/C- This building is old-school and doesn’t have central air, but the apartment has window units and fans that handle normal summer temps just fine. When Boise hits those “why is the sun angry?” heat waves, the units do their best but won’t chill the place like a modern system. If you run hot or you're here during triple-digit weather, just know this isn’t a luxury-level cool zone—it’s a window-unit warrior doing honorable work.
