Herons’ Weir (ref EXY) and adjoining Dippers’ Folly (ref EXZ) have been converted from an old industrial workshop building and have been fitted out to a high standard with oak doors and furniture, and marble floors with underfloor heating on the ground floor. The area makes an ideal base from which to explore the surrounding attractions, including Stonehenge, Longleat House, Safari Park and Gardens, Wells Cathedral and Bishops Palace, the spiritual town of Glastonbury with its abbey and tor, the amazing Cheddar Gorge, the designer outlet village at Street, a number of National Trust properties and the Roman city of Bath, with its Georgian buildings, sweeping crescents, spa baths and lively culture.
