Over the lane is a tiny Wood which you are welcome to use & enjoy with a picnic table & fire pit. The Tamar Valley is famous for its Market Gardens, Rivers, Scenery, and rich mining history ( Poldark style). The remains of Holmbush Mine and Woodland are literally across the road great for a walk, picnic, photos, and kids to play. 20 mins from Devon just 20 min from Tavistock, voted best Market town in the UK & 25 min to Historic Plymouth Ocean City with its famous Barbican, Mayflower Sailing history & The Hoe! Great to shop/eat/explore also trains links between Paddington London & Penzance Cornwall. Ferry to France & Spain. 30 mins to Beaches at Looe, Downderry/Seaton. 40-60 mins to North Devon/Cornish Coasts. 15 mins to Cotehele House & Gardens, Quay & riverside walk, the historic home of the Edgecumbe family, National Trust, and Calstock riverside village with pubs, we have The Engine House Bistro within walking distance & Callington has 3 pubs and several Restaurants & takeaways 1 mile away. Guest access The Studio is self-contained and private it has its own front door, which you can park beside. Being all ground floor it is child & disabled friendly. there is a small ramp up to the door & we can offer the use of a shower chair. It's all open plan on the ground floor. The Terrace is behind the Studio it's just for your use. Other things to note Meals etc should be paid for in cash, please. As a Florist, I can arrange bouquets/balloons/fruit baskets, etc, in your room for special occasions by prior arrangement. You will find several books on Cornwall in your room and many brochures about local places of interest. Let us know in advance if you need directions or advice on any particular place of interest.
