This is an attached apartment to a single family cape cod style home containing a private bathroom, kitchenette, and bathroom. The entrance is on the side of the home through the beautiful deck. The area is a peaceful and safe neighborhood of single family homes with walking trails, creeks and public transportation. The nearest metro station is an easy 10 minute walk (less than a mile away) connecting you to DC, Virginia, and the three major airports in the region. If you drive, you can easily park in front of the house. Guests have access to bedroom, bathroom, their own kitchen and laundry, and outdoor areas. This is a quaint neighborhood of older but well maintained Cape Cod style homes. The neighborhood has a community center and various walking/running trails alongside creeks. Very accessible and everything you need within a short walk or uber ride. Twinbrook metro station is an easy 10 minute walk. There are convenience stores, restaurants, and a shopping area which are also a short distance. A car isn't an absolute necessity in this area if you don't mind walking. I keep the house at a cool temperature in the winter, and a warm but comfortable temperature in the summer. Guests have access to a space heater and separate A/C if they are uncomfortable or want to set their own temperature at any time.
