A sweet, stylish guesthouse nestled in a serene neighborhood surrounded by water. The upstairs apartment of this historic home has been lovingly restored with modern amenities and creative touches. Perfect for those looking to get away or work remotely. We take COVID protocols seriously and hope that you do as well. This is a peaceful place, just off the beaten path with easy access to the wonderful shops and restaurants in downtown Mystic. Willow Point is a small residential community built around the Mystic Shipyard, a public waterfront access point. Within the house, you might notice the extraordinary quality of light and hear the soft sound of the train and our neighbor's ducks. Mystic Market West and a seasonal coffee cart are within a few minutes walk. Within 15 minutes walk with water views you have access to everything Mystic has to offer. A covered front porch, back deck, and private yard with stone fire pit are available for your use. The upstairs apartment is completely private with self-check-in, a large master bedroom, full kitchen (sans oven), and living room / office that can be used as a second bedroom if you wish. We do not have a TV but provide high-speed Wifi so you can stay connected, work remotely, and watch movies on your computer. There is an electronic lock on your door for self check-in. We are flexible about check-in / check-out times. Just let us know what your plans are.  Willow Point is a small peaceful neighborhood surrounded by water just off scenic route 215 between downtown Mystic and Noank. It is very safe and ideal for families who want to relax but also have access to all that Mystic has to offer. Parking is easy and we are close enough to walk into town. We provide a dedicated spot in the driveway for guest use but overnight on-street parking is also allowed. If you prefer to take the train we are just 1.5 miles from the Amtrak Mystic station, usually a $5 Uber or a pleasant 20 min walk through town. The Shipyard accepts transients if you are arriving by boat - just call ahead - and anyone can put in a kayak or other small craft just at the end of the street. Our family lives locally and occupies the unit downstairs. Since we are currently not able to provide access to the washer and dryer, we offer a weekly wash of towels and sheets.
