For those up for a stroll, strong walkers can reach the JW Marriott 5-star resort right on the property. This casita offers the best free and convenient parking in the area, situated away from road noise and directly on the golf course. Unlike many units, you can park right in front—just 10 steps to the door with no stairs or long treks from your car. Keep an eye on your vehicle from the kitchen window, making it easy for quick trips. For a relaxing evening, hop on the resort shuttle at the nearby Catalina BBQ/Golf Pro Shop and head to the JW Marriott for unforgettable experiences. If you dine on property, enjoy: Marriott pool access: guests can contact a ResortPass site that owners will provide to guests after booking. The pools, saunas are not under the casita owners' scope at this time. Pool Availability and Rates for use are set by the site. Hashemi Spa treatments can be booked w/ adult lap pool, jacuzzi and steam room use for the day, or purchase a day pass through a ResortPass site address that will be provided to guests after booking.. In some rare cases hosts can assist with the pool pass with a two week advance notice at the rate set at the time. This also applies to booking the tee times at any one of the the three Arnold Palmer golf courses. 11 dining options, including views and cozy firepits. We think about details so you can just rest and enjoy. This is a wildlife protected area, the javelin, mule deer, and roadrunners all roam free. Starr Pass is a star gazing, hiking and biking, golf, tennis, luxury wild west experience. Get your flashlight ready, (there is one near your front door) as it's dark at night for optimal star gazing (see Kitt Peak National Observatory). Avoid directly interacting with the wildlife, if they're in your path, go around, ask Host for insider tips. Host is a party/event specialist and will make dinner recommendations and reservations. Wear shoes at all time to protect your feet from any cactus debris on sidewalks and bring clean indoor slip on hard sole shoes. Bring layering clothes for winter when the evenings are chilly -- rarely snow!! Be prepared for a lot of warmth and heat in the summer, so have water, sun block, hiking to the knee boots, sun hats with you. Note on bed arrangement, there is a king bed -- the casita is mostly set up for two but can accommodate 3-4 in a pinch when the living room sectional is easily arranged into a full bed. Extra bedding for the living room sofa/sleeper is in the closet. Save time driving to your casita --This is the resort area closet to it all -- the TUS Airport, the University of Arizona, Downtown Tucson, I-10 freeway, Arizona Sonoran Museum.
