This spacious, welcoming property boasts stunning views of Lake Wānaka and the snow-capped Southern Alps, all from a desirable hillside location just an easy walk to the lake. Sleeping up to 8 guests across 4 bedrooms, the home features two ensuite bedrooms and two additional bedrooms sharing a large family bathroom and powder room. A separate media room offers a perfect kids’ retreat, while adults can relax in the open-plan living area with a fireplace and panoramic views. Outside, a sheltered courtyard with an outdoor fire invites al fresco dining, and within the grounds, you’ll find a tennis court and spa pool—both with amazing views. The lakefront track is easily accessible on foot or bike, making it simple to enjoy scenic rides or strolls into town. Minimum stay: 4 nights Guest access Guests have access to the entire house & gardens. You can park in the double garage or on the driveway. Other things to note Please be aware that this property is managed by ‘Release Wanaka’. We are a local Wanaka property management business and we are legally responsible for the care of the property. We require a fully refundable security bond for each booking. This will be refunded in full within 7 days of departure, as long as no loss or damage has occurred at the property. We require credit card details either before you arrive or on the day of arrival. The security bond for Mt Gold Retreat is NZ$1,200. This property does not have a live calendar and is enquiry only. Please contact us for availability. There is a one off booking management fee of NZ$350 per reservation. On Airbnb, this fee is spread over the nights of your booking. All bookings made with Release Wanaka through this platform are subject to receipt of a signed rental agreement. A booking is not considered confirmed until the agreement has been completed and received.
