1898 Red Bud B & B is professionally licensed, inspected and insured. We opened our doors to visitors in 2010. We are just a short drive to downtown Lexington, the Bourbon Trail, horse farms, vineyards, Keeneland, and historic sites such as Shaker Village of Pleasant Hill. Walking distance to Asbury. We look forward to welcoming you into our home! Welcome to the 1898 Red Bud Bed and Breakfast a beautifully restored turn-of-the century home. The Oak Room has a full sized antique bed and a private bath that has the original cast iron tub with a handheld attachment for hair washing (no shower, see photo) located in hall. We provide big fluffy robes for your convenience. A full gourmet breakfast is served daily between 7:00 - 8:30 M-F and 7:30 - 9:30 S/S. Located in historic Wilmore home. Only two blocks from Asbury University and Seminary. Guests will be given their own personal code to gain access. Allowing guests to come and go as they please. Guests also have access to front porch & grounds. Guests are greeted and checked in by the Innkeeper. A full gourmet breakfast is cooked and served by the Innkeeper daily. We are located in a National Register District and listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Within walking distance of Asbury University and Seminary. Make us your small town home away from home! We are centrally located in the beautiful Bluegrass region of Kentucky. The Bluegrass Airport is only 13 miles away. Lexington is an easy 11 mile drive on Hwy 68/Harrodsburg Road. The Asbury Inn provides shuttle service to-and-from LEX/Bluegrass Int'l Airport with advance reservations. Wilmore features shopping and convenience stores and services, including a laundromat and dry-cleaning service, a handful of restaurants (Subway, Chinese, coffee shops & ice cream/pizza shop), post office, drug store, IGA grocery store and Dollar General store.
