Home in Burns

The historic Cawlfield House was built by my grandfather in 1929. It has been beautifully restored with modern amenities and comforts. It has an updated Kitchen, Living, Dining, Bath, Office & two Bedrooms (1 plush queen bed down, 1 plush queen bed up & 1 trundle bed). Many of the furnishings came from Joanna Gaines collections. We've sincerely strived to consider your needs, including A/C. We'd love to host you! We are confident you'll enjoy the homes comforts and history! The space THE HOUSE: The Cawlfield's were a big part of Burns history. My great grandparents traveled the Oregon Trail by horse and wagon and settled here. To provide the settlers supplies, my great grandfather made regular supply runs between Burns and Bend via horse and wagon. To share a bit of the Cawlfield history we've poured our heart and soul into bringing the house back to life and endeavored to make it a place with modern and boutique comforts. It took four years, but we believe it's turned out amazing! It has historic pictures dating back to the late 1800's throughout the house. Guest access Parking at the front of the house as well as on the side of the house are available. Other things to note Although, the house was built in the 1920's we haven't forgotten the need for summer Air Conditioning. The house has several new window Air conditioners throughout the house.
