Magnificent 50 acre farmstay & animal sanctuary in the Northern Rivers Hinterland. 25 mins North of Byron Bay, 10 mins to Brunswick Heads and the beach; and 5 mins off the M1 so easy access. The VALE is a perfect location to get away from all the stress and bustle of City life and enjoy the tranquility and peace and isolation of the rural lifestyle, though remaining close to the beach, shops, restaurants & the many surrounding cultural activities in the Byron Shire. The space The farm house sleeps a maximum of 8 people with 3 x King Ensemble Beds and 1 x Queen Ensemble Bed. One of the King beds can be exchanged for 2 single beds. On private request to the owner, there is a quality roll-a-way bed for children and a cot that can be added to either of the 2 larger rooms for flexibility with sleeping arrangements. This is our family home and therefore has all the benefits of a loving home and not just a rental property. There are quality kitchen and dining goods with luxurious Sheridan towels and bedding. The farm offers NBN Fixed Wireless Plus: 2-20 Mbps download. Suitable for HD video streaming. Approved FarmStay by Byron Shire Council (DA10:2017:715.1) and 4 bedroom B&B (CDC:2022/116.1). There is a qualified chef and massage therapist available on request (this is additional to the FarmStay and must be booked in advance and paid directly). There is an extensive video library with a LED LCD Smart 55inch TV with Soundbar. Just walk in the door, connect your smart phone using bluetooth and you have access to your music, movies and TV shows. Netflix & Prime are also available. There are many different living areas. Firstly, there is the large lounge suite seating 8 people comfortably. Outside on the front verandah there is an outdoor table and lounge setting. In the garden there is a marble table with 6 stools and another large outdoor table by the wood fired pizza oven. The Western verandah also offers another private area of seating with a 6 person spa under the wisteria pergola. Around the fire pit there is further seating to enjoy some toasted marshmallows or the lights and sounds of a crackling fire . This property provides many different spaces for privacy and social gatherings. There are 4 bedrooms: the main French Room is grand with a private ensuite and walk-in. The Oriental Room has a private verandah with outdoor bathroom overlooking the Western garden and continuing paddocks. The Cherub Room and Turquoise room also share the second bathroom. The bed linen and towels are by Sheridan and of the highest quality. The kitchen is modern with a Miele dish washer and a country Euromaid 5 burner gas oven with 3 separate ovens. By the front verandah there is a Zeigler & Brown BBQ and a very large wood fired pizza oven built in sandstone on the Southern side. There is also a fire pit for gazing at the stars. One never has to leave the property with the choice of cooking facilities - all of an extremely high standard. The laundry has a washing machine and dryer of the latest Miele products (WKG130 + TKB450) with detergent provided. There is a glider swing and spa for the romantics, table tennis, cricket and badminton sets for the athletes, boules for the fun loving; and board games galore. We have Bond 007 Trivial Pursuit, jigsaw puzzles for all ages, cards, UNO and more. There are 2 chessboards and a board game set including checkers, backgammon, snakes & ladders and more. Entertainment galore. For the adults, we have a roulette table with blackjack and craps. The property includes a beautiful seasonal creek with a stone base that is perfect for lazing around on a hot summers day. The dam is a few minutes walk from the farm house though seasonal for swimming depending on how much rain we have had. If you prefer the creek, I suggest wearing a pair of old joggers when swimming as the creek is home to various native fish and other local animals. It is common to see perch, some platypus if you are very quiet, even an echidna or two as you walk through the paddocks. Coles online can deliver your groceries to the door, so plan ahead and your order can arrive at the farm as you do. For guests staying more than a week we offer to pack away your groceries in the cupboards and fridge if your delivery is just prior to your arrival. Contact us for further details after booking. We also have a seasonal market garden supplying our own fresh fruit and vegetables. Your family pet is welcome provided they do not interfere with the animal residents. Pets must be pre-approved by the owner. Pets are permitted in the home, though not allowed on the furniture. The house area is fully fenced with both paddock fencing and an overlay of dog fencing. I strongly suggest your pet requires a quality tick and flea medication to ensure their health. This property is a place to relax and enjoy what the farm offers, it is not a noisy party place. At The Vale is not uncommon to see us working around the property or a tractor driving through the paddocks.
