Our extremely well located and very spacious home is right in the center of Rotterdam's cultural and museum neighborhood. We are just 2 blocks away from world class shopping and the Erasmus Medical Center. We are in view of the best cultural street in the Low Countries: the Witte de Wittstraat, filled with 45 cafes, restaurants, and art galleries. The world famous Doelen concert hall with the Rotterdam Philharmonic Orchestra is within a stone's throw. We have 2 guest rooms in the top floor apartment that sleep two each with very comfortable queen size beds. One room can also be made up as two single beds if requested. There is a large private bathroom with separate bath and shower and a skylight. We offer a mini kitchen with two refrigerators and a microwave. (If you wish you may have our delicious hot or cold breakfast made to order at a very friendly extra charge). Our rooms are spacious, elegant and quiet. On the top floor you have your own balcony terrace overlooking an 95 year old sycamore tree that survived the bombing of the city in 1940 and is protected by the council of Rotterdam. We do have the typical steep Dutch stairs that are everywhere in the Netherlands but you are rewarded with beautiful views over our private garden and on the front of the house the view of the City. A stay with us includes a half hour complimentary walking tour of the neighborhood to orient yourself with recommendations for our favorite local places to eat and drink. Be sure and visit the exciting Rotterdam harbor which is only a short walk away and zoom over the Maas river on a fast boat taxi. Stay a couple of days or longer. (We have a two night minimum stay.) There is so much to discover and enjoy in vibrant Rotterdam! You won't want to leave!
