Cozy Backyard Cottage in South Park

The cottage is tucked away in a quiet neighborhood close to most of the main attractions of San Diego. I am considered a "Super Host" since I have hosted over 300 guests with most of them rating their stay 5 star. You won’t be disappointed! You'll fall in love with South Park. As my listing is only available for 30+ day stays I have turned off the instant book feature so we can make sure that you stay is a good fit for both of us. It is my wish that your stay be a wonderful experience. The space The space was updated in 2024 with new linens, pots, pans, baking sheets, artwork, coffee table with pop up computer workstation, end tables with built in charging stations, area rugs, and wall mirror. It is a studio with a pillow top queen bed and queen sofa bed-separated only by a curtain. it has a portable air conditioning unit as well as a portable heater and is fully insulated. It also has its own deck complete with grill, patio table and several chairs for dining outside. The cottage is tucked away in a tranquil corner of the yard. It includes a full but small kitchen complete with a full size refrigerator, stove, coffee pot and microwave. The bathroom is full size complete with a bathtub/shower combination. The cottage is equipped with high speed wi-fi complete with a booster. I have a 9 year old black miniature golden doodle Keegan who only comes in the shared front yard if hes running to get into my car or we are heading out for a walk. Otherwise he is at work with me and only goes in my back/side yard that is separate from the cottage space. The price, location and amenities can’t be beat. South Park is a very desirable neighborhood. It is located 10 minutes to downtown San Diego, 15 minutes to the beaches and Balboa Park and has been renovated (some would say gentrified) over the past 20 years. The cottage is well suited for a long term guest or two. Guest access The only shared space you will encounter between the main house (mine) and the cottage is when you walk through the front yard and up the driveway to get to your cottage in the back. You have a separate deck and entrance and I have a separate back and side yard complete with an 8 foot wooden fence. Please be respectful of quiet hours 11 pm to 9 am and I will do the same. If on the very rare occasions that I host an event that goes later than 11 pm it will be on a weekend and I will give you plenty of notice. I believe my last such event was June 2022 so not to worry! Other things to note There are beach towels in the closet (Yellow and white stripes and blue and white stripes). Please do not take regular bath towels to the beach or any linens out of the cottage. I have a cooler, beach umbrella and beach chairs if you would like to borrow them just let me know. And please ask if you need anything else. I've been accused of being an over-sharer.
