Now you can have the best of both worlds when you stay at ‘Little Mountain Retreat’. Hidden away at the top of a winding driveway, you will find a modern take on the Queensland cottage. This bespoke home offers the ideal spot to relax and recharge, yet at the same time is only 5.5kms from the beautiful beaches, restaurants and shops of Caloundra and all the Sunshine Coast and Hinterland has to offer. Inside the home, you'll find a spacious, light and bright open plan living/dining space adjoining the unique chef's kitchen, with its timber bench top, statement splashback, stainless steel appliances and a ceramic Butler's sink. With beautiful polished cypress floors, handcrafted timber joinery and cabinetry, this home exudes comfort and relaxation. After a hard day at the beach or enjoying one of the many local attractions, relax with a cool drink or two on the large covered veranda overlooking 2.5 acres of private bush reserve. Kangaroos come to graze on the lawns right at the house while Kookaburras laugh in the trees as the sun sets over the ridge and a resident possum family can be seen regularly. As night falls feel right at home in the 1000 thread count linens and warm doona. With a comfortable second bedroom and second bathroom, there is room for all the family or friends, and for that extra occasion there is a double fold out sofa in the lounge. Please Note - We have a strict no party policy nor is the house available to ‘schoolies’. Guest access Guests have private use and access to the whole house and yard. Other things to note The house is located up a steep driveway at the top of the hill where you will find parking for 3 vehicles.
