Please be aware that while the roads are excellently maintained by the city, due to the cabin's high elevation, it is advisable to have a 4x4, snow tires, or chains during snow events for your safety and convenience. Access is easy with paved roads leading up to the cabin, which features flat parking. A unique highlight is the Ober Gatlinburg tram, which passes directly overhead, offering an impressive view.
