Stella Blue B is located in the hip & bustling Starland Art District. She was built in 1915 & lovingly restored keeping all of her historic Savannah charm in tact. She has parking & is walking distance to trendy shops, cafes, restaurants & bars & biking distance to anywhere in downtown or midtown Savannah: 3/4 mile from Forsyth Park, less than 2 miles from River Street, 5 minutes from I-16, 19 miles to Tybee Island & 12 miles to the airport. - SVR-00648 - PLEASE READ ENTIRE AD BEFORE BOOKING The space Stella Blue is less than a block away from the free shuttle stop that runs throughout all of historic downtown with numerous stops including River Street. She has an open floor plan with an exposed ceiling giving the cozy cottage a spacious feel. Century old original heart pine floors, wainscoting, and exposed beams provide that old Savannah charm & warmth. The living area has two double sided fireplaces (not currently in use), a leather loveseat, an oversized leather chair & a double reclining sofa, a 55" smart TV with cable & a dvd player. The living space flows right into the 2 bedroom areas with 2 queen size beds. There is a bar that separates the sleeping / living room area from the kitchen with seating for 4. The retro kitchen is large & fully equipped with a fridge (no ice maker), gas stove, & ample cooking supplies such as utensils, cookware, blender, coffee maker, hand mixer & even a food processor. There is a surprisingly spacious & bright bathroom with a new tile shower & plenty of towels. The other bedroom is essentially open to the rest of the house & features a full size bed & a hanging rack for clothes. The space can accommodate 6 guests: ideally a family or very close friends as there is very little privacy due to the open floor plan (the bathroom is the only room with a door). The back porch offers a cozy seating area that is perfect for sipping your morning coffee or evening cocktails. The large enclosed backyard provides a charcoal grill, 2 outdoor dining tables & off street parking for 2 cars outside of the privacy fence. PLEASE NOTE: the dining room table has been removed & replaced by a queen sized bed. Guest access The entire unit as well as a shared backyard Other things to note Please note that Stella Blue is located in a bustling neighborhood in transition & that there are train tracks, restaurants & bars that can be very NOISY & active at night very close by. There is also a soup kitchen nearby that serves the homeless population. If you want to be in the middle of the city with all that she has to offer within walking & biking distance then you've found the perfect spot! If however you are looking for a quiet getaway, then this might NOT be the best match for you. Also, this is one half of an over 100 year old duplex & I rent both sides out on AirBnB. You MUST be RESPECTFUL as well as UNDERSTANDING of your neighbors. Please no yelling or excessively loud music/tv & keep noise to a minimum especially later at night and earlier in the morning.
