S.A.M.Y.'s Alpaca Farm & Fiber Studio

Experience a peaceful stay on our alpaca farm! Our cozy bunkie sleeps up to 4 guests and offers a camping-style experience with the comfort of heat and air conditioning. A small propane or charcoal BBQ is available. Please bring your own cooler, dishes, cookware, and other camping essentials. You'll have the opportunity to help feed and water our 40+ alpacas and even take an evening alpaca walk—at no extra charge. End your day around the large bonfire under the stars. Firewood is included. The space The bunkie has both a summer and winter setup. Summer: A double bed with full bedding is on the main floor, while the loft features a king-size mattress with sleeping bags. Sleeping bags can be provided if needed. Winter: The loft's king-size mattress has full bedding, and the main floor becomes a cozy sitting area. Two chairs fold out into cots for use with sleeping bags. Outside, you'll find a private patio with both a propane and charcoal BBQ. Charcoal is included at no extra charge. In front of the bunkie are two small ponds with goldfish and frogs. Behind it is the alpaca summer pasture, with the barn and visitor area just a short walk away. Friendly farm cats roam the property, and you'll have the opportunity to interact with the alpacas and other animals while enjoying an authentic farm experience. The washroom with a hot shower is located in the farmhouse and is available to guests at all times. Guest access Guests can use the backyard with the firepit area and access the washroom and shower in the farmhouse. There is a visitor area in the barn that allows observing the alpacas when they are not in the pasture. Other things to note There are two small ponds on the property, and small children need to be watched at all times. We do offer farm visits and alpaca walks as part of our farm business. This means that during the day, there will be other groups (one at a time ) on the property, and we will take alpacas out for walks. The sunset walk is set aside for our Airbnb guests at no extra cost. We can head out for the walk anytime between 4:30 pm and 30 mins before sunset.
