Located in the charming little town of Lyons, our beautiful, one bedroom carriage house is in it's own private building. It is completely furnished. No need to bring anything but clothing and personal items. The place includes a queen bed and comfortable, full-size, foldout couch. Under-eave closets provide extra storage areas or a fun hideaway for children. The kitchen is equipped with a refrigerator, dishwasher, toaster oven/convection oven, microwave, double burner, electric skillet, and an "insta-pot". There is a washer/dryer, TV, private carport, walk-out balcony, and use of outdoor grill and hot tub. We are one hour from Denver International airport; ten miles from the city of Longmont; fifteen miles from the university town of Boulder; twenty miles from Estes Park and Rocky Mountain National Park. In the winter, walk two blocks to Lavern Johnson Park and ice skate; then warm up by the fire afterwards. In spring, summer and fall, the hiking trails are open and only five minutes away. Our house is one block from the St. Vrain River and a short stroll to coffee cafes, restaurants, shopping, and walking distance to the festival grounds; home of the famous Rocky Grass and Lyons Folk Festival). Music, art, quilting, hiking, biking, fishing, kayaking and motorbiking abound in the area. Lyons is a wonderful place to stay, anytime of the year!
