Watch the Rolling Swells @ Peterborough

Our house at Peterborough is a modern take on a 1960s beach house, set over 3 levels. The house features an eclectic choice of both modern and retro furnishings. Enjoy relaxing in front of the wood fire, in the upstairs loungeroom while overlooking the Southern Ocean. Alternatively relax on the north facing rear deck, or in one of the 2 hammocks with your favourite book. The main bedroom also has ocean views and a spacious ensuite. The third bedroom or bunkroom, has a tri-bunk (with double bed on the bottom and single on top) and 2 regular sets of bunks. The well equipped kitchen features a large 5 burner oven for cooking up a storm. You can chose to dine at the island bench for breakfast or sit at the baltic pine 12 seater dining table, with bench seats set into the corner. The fire pit in the back yard provides a great spot for toasting marshmallows. NO PETS PLEASE. A short stroll across the road takes you to the protected Wild Dog Cove for a swim, stroll or snorkel. Only a short walk and you will find Peterborough's oceanside golf course, shops, surf spots, tennis courts, estuary, playground and foreshore reserve. Peterborough general store has essentials and a well stocked wine selection. Peterborough House does a great coffee during the day and delicious authentic curries in the evening. You can also grab fish & chips or pizza at the Peterborough Takeaway. Food lovers can enjoy the local 12 Apostles Gourmet Food Trail, encompassing the Port Campbell, Timboon and Peterborough areas and visit such places as the Timboon Cheesery, Gorge Chocolates and Timboon distillery. You can also enjoy a short drive to the local shops, cafes and restaurants in both Timboon (15mins) and Port Campbell (10mins). PLEASE NOTE LINEN/TOWELS NOT SUPPLIED
