The Manor sits on 50 acres of beautiful meadows, has a built in pool, porch, fireplaces and is just a few minutes from area activities. Here are some things to keep in mind during your stay: Controls for Television, Roku, and air conditioner are on coffee table in front of couch. Exhaust fan will automatically come on if temperature reaches above 70 degrees. Windows that are partially open can be opened fully to provide good cross ventilation and also door to back porch will also allow cool air in. Be sure to close windows when leaving – sudden thunderstorms can wreak havoc. Dishes in dishwasher are clean. More supplies in hallway pantry and cabinets as needed. Door to patio must be open/locked with deadbolt. If not locked wind can blow it open. Recycling bins in main hallway near entrance door. Trash containers are outside at end of garage underneath deck. Make yourself at home. All beds are made up with clean linens. Fine to leave linens on beds when you leave. Pool is sparkling and it looks like good swimming weather. Just be careful. Do not try to walk down blocked staircase. Go around on grass by pool house to enter pool. Use Laundry facility if you need to. Please do not disturb my private office area Feel free to wander 50 acres of property – the upper pasture offers panoramic views of Lake Parker and Jay Peak. Farmer may head up there at some point to cut hay. There is small school (seven students) located in barn, so there will be staff cars parked on property for periods during some weekdays. Please park in front of the garage door to the left by entrance to Manor, or elsewhere by barn. Please protect dining room table. Placemats are out or in dresser drawer near table. WIFI sign on is runawaymanor or runawaymanor-guest. Password is 77mapleVT Fish pond (yes there are goldfish, though sometimes hard to see due to algae) is outside sun room. Please supervise children, since it is over three feet deep. Trampoline belongs to neighboring school facility, so it is off limits to guests. Enjoy your stay!
