The space Welcome to the Hiker's Holiday Home! Equipped as a holiday home for hikers, this property offers all the necessary furnishings for a relaxing and at the same time exciting holiday for individuals, couples, or families of up to six people.This apartment is located in the UNESCO World Heritage City and European Cultural Capital Weimar. The apartment is designed to accomodate up to 6 guests, although housing six adults at the same time would require them to be very comfortable with one another. There is one bedroom in the apartment, which sleeps two people in a queen-sized bed. The living room has both a Murphy bed, which sleeps one and a sofa landscape which can sleep up to 3 people. It is recommended that three children/ or two adults and one child sleep on the sofa landscape, when accomodations for six are sought. The kitchen is fully equipped will all necessary appliances for longer stays. It is located directly adjacent to a major hiking path which connects to hiking trails throughout Thuringia. It is also located a 5 minute bus ride from the city center (or a 15 minute hike). The apartment offers a completely equipped kitchen (stove, fridge, microwave, freezer, coffee maker, etc.) as well as a washing machine/dryer for those hiking "accidents". In order to protect the historic/antique furniture, there is NO Electric tea kettle provided in the apartment. Please DO NOT place any hot articles on the antique furniture. Maps of local hiking trails and informational brochures for points of interest are also available for use. The living room features satellite TV, stereo and dvd player with game port. A shopping center with grocery store is a 3 minute walk away. The bus stop is 1 minute away. We ask smokers to please refrain from smoking in the apartment. There is a two night minimum stay. . . . . . Guest access The entire apartment is available to guests including kitchen and washer/dryer. This apartment is a smoke free environment. Other things to note The city of Weimar requires guests staying in hotels and vacation facilities to pay a 1 Euro/night/adult cultural tax. This money will be passed on to the city and helps to support cultural activities throughout the year.
