This apartment is located directly at the forest edge. A connection to the network of hiking trails in Thüringen is given. Washing machine with drying function, foot bath, a fully equipped kitchen with stove, oven, microwave, coffee maker, refrigerator and freezer etc. is part of the decor of the apartment. The bathroom has both bath and shower function. Hiking maps are available and may be used in the home. TV with satellite and DVD players are provided with the game port. Board games for adults and children make for more entertainment possibilities. The apartment is located in the city of Weimar, UNESCO World Heritage Site, is known for its old town that is a 10 minute bus ride away. People who will love it here are: - people who love nature/they spend more time outside than inside - people who love history and culture - people who enjoy immersive experiences that differ from their daily norm. People who will hate it here are: - looking for a five star accommodation at a one star price - travel with the entire contents of their kitchen and wardrobe - are unwilling to accept that the apartment is designed to help people understand what it was like to live in another time period than their own. - who are only looking for a cheap place to stay and aren't interested in learning something in the process. That being said, I am a host that enjoys giving people insider tips to make their stays more enjoyable. I often ask guests what cultural things they are especially attracted to and then gather information for my guests about current cultural activities in the area that meet those interests.
