My place is close to Minneapolis' downtown, with easy access to highways and all parts of the Twin Cities. You’ll love my place because of the welcoming feel, and light throughout the main floor. This listing combines both of my guest rooms for those looking to have two bedrooms and a private bathroom on their trip! The kitchen is still shared space. My home is a cozy and welcoming place for you to rest and recharge during your time in Minneapolis! You'll have the two rooms on the main floor, and use of the main floor bathroom, which will be private to your group. The "Loon" bedroom has a queen bed, nightstand, and closet. The "Heron" bedroom has a king-sized bed, closet, and coatrack. You're welcome to make yourself at home on the main floor--living and dining rooms, kitchen, back patio, and front porch. The washer and dryer are in the basement, if you need to use them during your stay. The kitchen is shared space--I like to cook and prepare food for my workdays, but leave it clean for guests and strive to stay out of your way :) I can be reached via text/phone/email for any questions that come up during your stay. I have my own sitting area upstairs so I'll be out of your way unless I'm making a meal or passing through to take my dog outside. My neighborhood is very residential--we're in the Cleveland neighborhood of Minneapolis. I love my neighborhood for it's diversity, history, and proximity to nature and all that the Twin Cities have to offer. You're in a big metropolitan area, but guests often comment how quiet it is. You may hear siren traffic, as we're very close to North Memorial hospital, and not far from a few major thoroughfares throughout the city. In the warmer months, the kids that live on my block play outside, and neighbors may have a birthday party or football event. You may hear a loud car or two passing through at times. All a part of living in the city! There are bus routes nearby, but I'd recommend choosing my place if you'll have a car while in town. There's plenty of street parking, and always spots right in front of my house! By car or taxi it is just 10 minutes to downtown Minneapolis, 15 minutes to the US Bank Stadium, 25 to the MSP airport, and 30 to Prince's Paisley Park. Minneapolis bus routes are a four block walk, with the C Line takes you into downtown to catch light rail or bus routes to any part of the Twin Cities.
