An old thatched-roof house, more than 100 years old, has been restored to its original condition as a bed-and-breakfast.
Description
After centuries had passed, this traditional thatched-roof farmhouse—over 100 years old—has been revitalized as a guesthouse.
In recent years, many traditional farmhouses have been restored as guesthouses and have become very popular, but most of them incorporate modern window frames and fixtures.
Properties like this one, which have been faithfully restored to their original state, are becoming increasingly rare.
The earthen floor and storm shutters remain just as they were back then. We would be honored if you could view the slightly loose fittings as part of its charm.
While electricity is available, we have deliberately chosen not to provide a TV, telephone, clock, or Wi-Fi.
Our intention is for you to enjoy life as it was back then and spend your time at a leisurely pace.
Precisely because we live in such a convenient modern world, we believe that by deliberately experiencing a life of simple living, you may come to appreciate your “everyday” life even more.
