This bicycle-themed bungalow in the historic Garfield neighborhood is just 1/2 mile from downtown Phoenix. It is the perfect getaway for couples, friends, families, and business travelers. The décor is unique and consists of many upcycled bicycle parts. You'll also love the comfy beds, well-supplied kitchen, smart TV, office space, and outdoor amenities. Easy access with electronic code and fast WIFI. It's a great home base as you explore what Arizona and Phoenix have to offer! The space This 2-bedroom 2-bath house has everything you might need for a lovely stay, plus A LOT of personality! There's covered parking for your car as well as free street parking in front of the house. The first thing you'll notice about this historic 1910 house is its beautiful brick facade with blue accents. If you arrive after dark, you'll also discover the carport which features a unique bicycle rims art installation. Just past the carport there's an easy-to-use keyless entry. Once you open the side door, you'll see the well-supplied kitchen to the left. With a full-size refrigerator, stove, and microwave, along with all of the utensils, pots, and pans to cook up some tasty meals, you'll always have the option to dine in or enjoy the many wonderful restaurants nearby. The kitchen also includes a Keurig coffee maker, electric tea kettle, toaster, and blender for your use. On the other side of the kitchen, you'll find the living and dining rooms. A 2-stool breakfast counter and a 4-person dining table give you options for enjoying your meals. The living room with a sofa, two chairs, smart TV, and original upcycled bicycle art will be a great place to relax. The two bedrooms with queen Tuft & Needle mattresses each have a different fun vibe. One is dark and moody with an upcycled pressed metal accent wall, grey furniture, and rust-colored décor. The other is light and flirty with bicycle wheel wallpaper and teal and orange details. Both bedrooms have large closets with built-in storage space behind sliding barn doors. Another room serves as an office space with a desk, wireless printer, and basic office supplies. With the super fast WIFI, you can keep up with work demands or plan your sightseeing adventures. You'll also find a few games for your down time here. The two bathrooms are supplied with all of the necessary amenities (soap, shampoo, conditioner, fluffy towels, hairdryers, etc.). You'll have exclusive access to the washer and dryer located in the house next to the office space. You'll also find a utility sink, iron, and ironing board in this space. Also, Bicycles!! The bike theme we've adopted means that you won't be staring at the same old generic paintings you'll find in hotel rooms. We've incorporated some bicycle-inspired design throughout. The artwork, including some original pieces created by Mike and Jackie, makes great use of upcycled parts while adding style to the space. We've provided recommendations for some great cycling spots including a couple of bicycle-themed bars and restaurants. We hope our guest house will not only be a lovely place to stay, but also a unique experience. Outside, you'll have access to a private front lawn and porch with a double rocking chair. On the east side of the house, you can nap or read a book in a comfy hammock or enjoy a soak in our cozy hot tub! Additional vehicles can be parked in the driveway or on the street for free. Other things to note No crazy cleaning chores. When you're ready to check-out, just lock-up and leave! For stays longer than 21 days, we require mid-stay cleanings every two weeks to help keep the home comfortable and in great condition. This includes fresh linens, towels, and a light reset of the space (vacuuming, cleaning of bathrooms, kitchen, etc.) The mid-stay cleaning fee is $95, which will be requested through Airbnb’s Resolution Center. For the safety of our guests, exterior security cameras are used around the property.
