Also explore the wider Hawke's Bay - head to Napier and experience Art Deco, the fun of the Marine Parade or take a tour around our famous wineries, sample our local farmers markets, climb/drive Te Mata Peak for fabulous views or organise a day tramp up to Sunrise Hut or out to Te Puia for a hot swim in the bush or take the trip by tractor out to see the gannets at Cape Kidnappers. Return to The Quarters to bbq your market food, drink our local wine and relax. There are no Hotels, Motels, Shops, Petrol stations or ATMs at Kairakau, the closest being Havelock North or Waipawa - (40 mins away). There is cellphone reception with Spark.
