Cozy Condo Close to Mt Baker

A peaceful escape from city life. Great for the active family or those who want to enjoy the untouched outdoors. Lots of natural forest and river as well as pool and other amenities. Skiing and hiking nearby. Located on the Nooksack River and a beautiful forest just minutes to Mt Baker. The space My family of all ages love this space. It is clean and comfortable, and has a fully equipped kitchen, games and books and TV. It is very near the North Fork of the Nooksack River and borders the National Forest with Mt. Baker about 18 miles up the road. There is limited cell phone access but wifi in unit and throughout the complex. Guest access Along with the basic condo, guests have walking trails, a clubhouse, recreation building, adult building, children's playground, tennis, handball, basketball, pickle ball courts; 2 pools and jacuzzis. Other things to note There is some literature in the condo about hiking and recreation in the area. The Glacier Ranger Station is a short distance before Snowater on Hwy 542 and has current information about the area. Some GPS does not respond to Snowater 10500 Mt Baker Hwy. Following directions to restaurant Chair 9 works pretty well, but you will loose coverage as there are dead areas on the road up. Once you reach Glacier, Snowater is a short distance up the road. It borders the national forest and is the last place when going to Mt Baker. When you come to the restaurant Chair 9, Snowater is the next turn on the left. Go thru gate and take first right to parking lot. Park at the far end. If you are getting the key from the lockbox you need to park at the office and walk thru gate and parking lot, a short distance to condo.
