The Barn -Alton Towers/the Peaks

The Barn sits in 11 acres of organic farmland with walks and cycle paths on your doorstep. Alton Towers is 10 minutes away. We are on the edge of Denstone village, with with an award winning farm shop and pub within walking distance, Denstone Hall. We are under 2miles from JCB and JCB Golf & Country Club. Close to Denstone College and Abbotsholme School. The Peak District is just 20 minutes away. We are dog friendly. We have a wood-fired hot tub, which can be booked & paid for separately. The space Greenacres is our home. The property is a detached farmhouse built in 1850. The farmhouse is divided into two, the house where we live and larger half, The Barn, where you will stay. There is a shepherds hut in the grounds for two, bookable separately and also listed on Airbnb, The Parlour, for Alton Towers and the Peaks. Only a few minutes away from local schools Denstone College and Abbotsholme School. Guest access Greenacres is one long detached farmhouse sitting in 11 acres. We are set back from the road. The farmhouse has been divided into two separate homes, the farmhouse that has always been the family home and The Barn that was converted to a home more recently. Previously, the Barn was used as part of the working farm, to house cattle, sheep and pigs. There is more information about the property on our website.
