Charming guest house cottage in the heart of Burbank with private, keyless entrance. Large studio has vaulted ceiling and french doors allowing in bright natural light. Renovated space with mini kitchen and luxurious bathroom boasting an extra-large shower. Vintage house with a modern twist, featuring Alexa "turn on the light, stream Netflix", smart lock, smart TV, etc. Enjoy your pick of fresh lemons while lounging in the backyard. Accommodates 2 adults, if bringing a child let me know :) The space Your cottage is completely detached, situated at the back of our property with lots of privacy. We live in the main house so we are near if you need anything. Patio has solar lights and auto timed string lights with seating area. You are in a safe, walkable neighborhood with access to the shops and dining in Magnolia Park. Close to downtown Burbank, Warner Bros, Disney, Nickelodeon, NBC, Whole Foods, Handy Market and many activities. Hiking and trails up on the hill in Burbank, Griffith Park or Lake Hollywood all close by. 5 miles to Universal Studios, 6 miles to Hollywood Walk of Fame, 15 mins to Dodger Stadium or Chinatown, central to pretty much everything while being tucked into the quiet quaint town of Burbank. This large studio has a vaulted ceiling floods with natural light through the French doors that face the garden backyard. The plush queen bed has a Casper mattress and crisp linens. Modular Couch is between a twin and full-size bed that can comfortably accommodate a guest for a separate sleep space. The cushions can be arranged in your design of choice making for a fun and comfortable space. The spacious bathroom features large walk in shower, double shower head, bench, plenty of toiletries, first aid items, blow dryer, magnifying mirror, ample towels, a cozy robe, sewing kit and other comforts while away from home. Iron and ironing board provided. Enjoy our fun collection of books on music, history, vampires, acupressure, fiction and some fun biographies from personal friends! A foldaway clothing rack is provided with hangers, extra shelves in the bathroom. Large wardrobe has a shelf and 2 large drawers for guests but it does share with some of our daughters play toys in the bottom drawers. Heating and cooling with remote thermostat on a mini split. Ceiling fan overhead and side lite screened windows on the french doors you can keep open in the evenings for perfect cooling. Brand new mini kitchen with small fridge/freezer, toaster, microwave, kettle, Keurig, glassware, utensils, and an induction single burner cooktop. Entrance through the white gate takes you down the driveway to the backyard where your house is privately positioned toward the back of the property. French doors open to your patio and grassy area with pomegranate tree and lots of plants. Yard and driveway is common area although we maintain as much privacy as possible for your comfort. We do not allow pets at the cottage at this time. Our cats and small dog (Pixie, who will want to be your best friend) are all friendly. We ask you close gate when coming and going so they don't get lost. Guest access Ample street parking, minding the street cleaning signs, Friday and Monday 10am-12pm. You enter the property from the driveway, going through the white gate (lift latch and just push), follow the driveway and path curving through the backyard to your patio and cottage. You are welcome to our backyard area and feel free to use the workout tent or wave to us if you see us exercising in there :) Other things to note Family friendly property and safe, walkable neighborhood. No smoking, undisclosed guests, animals or inappropriate behavior. Pick some lemons or catch an avocado... when in season there's white grapes and pomegranates! Also note I have cats and a small dog you will see on occasion in the backyard :) We have an EV charger that can be arranged for use with a fee just let me know in advance.
