Secluded Beachfront Paradise

Our NZ Bach is the perfect vacation home in a secluded bay with its own beach. Located on the Paihia/Opua coastal track its a beautiful 35 minute walk into Paihia. Driving only takes 3 minutes to Paihia/7 minutes to Opua. The house contains three bedrooms and full bath. There is a separate ablution block for laundry with outdoor shower. This property has no equal in the Bay of Islands for its location so if you like privacy and convenience to town this is it! NOT SUITABLE FOR CHILDREN UNDER 8. The space The house was completely renovated in 2018 with plank flooring, all new beds and new living and dining furniture. The two new decks (one in front of the living room and another to the side of the house) both added in 2019 have views of the ocean. Two of the three bedrooms have sliding doors opening up to the lawn in front of the beach and have ocean views. It is set on 1/2 hectare of lawn, garden and native bush. A charcoal BBQ grill is available (in the ablution block). However, if you prefer a gas BBQ, please notify us with a minimum of a week's notice. There is an additional cleaning charge of $25 payable using EFTPOS. Guest access Guests have access to the entire property including the ablution block (during summer months) which is in a separate building along with a laundry and shower room which we asks guests to use after swimming in the ocean. However the garage is not available for use. There is plenty of parking in the driveway. Due to the drive being steep, one way traffic and narrow no trucks, caravans or trailers are permitted. Unfortunately the boathouse is not useable space yet. Other things to note There are great coastal walks heading either direction (Paihia or Opua) from our beach. In addition there is a wonderful golf course at Waitangi Golf Course with spectacular views. Even if you don’t play golf it’s worth a visit. Also the cream trip out on the bay is a wonderful day out on the water. Boats leave from Paihia. Plenty of bars and restaurants in both Paihia and Russell worth trying out.
