The space This colorful and charming rental is a vintage school bus that has been transformed into a cozy wilderness retreat. The rental features wood plank flooring and two foldable chairs for lounging. It also has its own private fire pit (Wood is available for $5.00 per bundle). Glampers will be able to enjoy direct access to a vast network of multi-use trails just steps from the rental, and free parking is available on the premises. This unique vacation rental can accommodate up to two guests (three if someone wants to sleep on the wood floor). Located on Toad Hill, a remote 45 acre property surrounded by pristine forest in the heart of The White Mountains. There is lots to do and see in the area. Hike, bike, snowmobile or ski from the door to waterfalls, ponds, or just around the property in search of birds and wildlife. Take a day trip to Province or Mountain Pond for both swimming and fly fishing. Toad hill also host a summer music festival and has beautiful sculptures around the property. Perfect for people trying to get away from life and into nature! Please note that there is no running water and no electricity in this accommodation. Bring a few items including sleeping bags or sheets, pillowcases, and blankets as well as food and utensils, cookware, flashlights, and water or a water purifier. The host asks that guests practice "leave no trace ethics" during their visit. There is an outhouse located near the barn. In the winter car access is limited and guest will have to hike to their accommodations.
