Amazing beach front apartment, Alcossebre

This fully air-conditioned, penthouse apartment with panoramic sea views is ideal for couples & families and perfect for both fun and relaxation. 1 of the 5 local Blue Flag beaches is a few steps away or you can enjoy the spacious terrace to sunbathe, dine, or relax. The on-site pool on the ground floor has sunloungers provided. There is designated private parking and step free access to and from the beach and the apartment. A wide selection of restaurants and shops are an easy stroll away. The space The property benefits from a west facing aspect so the sun can be enjoyed all day and into the evening. 50% of the terrace is equipped with retractable shades to protect from the direct sun at the height of summer. Both the bedrooms and the living area have air conditioning and window shutters to give full darkness at night if required. The spacious master bedroom opens out via french windows to the terrace. The twin room, ideal for children or another couple, has plenty of space for 2 people. Both bedrooms are well equipped with ample storage. The bathroom has a large walk in shower and plenty of space to store personal items during your stay. Shower gel, shampoo and hair conditioner are provided. The compact kitchen has everything needed to make your stay comfortable. An oven, ceramic hob, dishwasher, washing machine, fridge/freezer, microwave, capsule coffee machine, toaster, kettle are available. There is a selection of basic oils, herbs and spices provided along with tea and coffee and sugar. The apartment has step free access to and from the private parking space to the apartment, the pool and the beach. However, the apartment cannot accommodate a wheelchair due to the width of the door. Guest access The swimming pool is shared with other residents. Other things to note Alcossebre is part of the picturesque Orange Blossom coast, the Costa del Azahar, just 1 hour north of Valencia and 2 hours south of Barcelona. The area is located within a protected national park and boasts superb beaches, fine restaurants and a relaxed ambiance. Castellon de Plana Airport is only 25 minutes drive from the property and has regular flights to and from the UK and other European destinations. All the beaches surrounding the twin towns of Alcossebre/Las Fuentes offer family beach entertainments. Alcossebre is a great base to explore dramatic scenery, ancient mountain villages and cultural delights such as Morella, Peniscola and Valencia. For the family the Universal Studios at Port Aventura (90mins away), or Benicassim splash park are all within a day trip distance. There are 2 magnificent golf courses and within easy driving distance. Castellon, Valencia and Barcelona are excellent shopping!
