FAMILY HOLIDAY HOME For over 2 generations Salt Breeze, located on Lake Cathie’s prestigeous Chepana street, has been a much loved family holiday home. The owners have consistently updated the home to keep up with modern times. TWO LEVEL HOME IN QUIET STREET - YOU BOOK THE ENTIRE HOUSE Located on Lake Cathie's prestigious Chepana street. Sleeps 9-10 people max over two levels, upstairs 4-5 guests max, downstairs 2-5 guests. Great for families to have their own space. PLEASE NOTE: Generally upstairs and downstairs spaces are NOT rented out separately, so you will always have piece and quiet even when you rent upstairs only (bookable via a different listing "Saltbreeze Upstairs Only"). LAYOUT Top level is accessible via outdoor stairs. The front balcony with relaxing lounge seats offers you glorious sunrise views and ocean glimpses under the constant calming sounds of the waves crashing on the beach across the street. UPSTAIRS features open plan living, lounge with airco, dining suite and modern kitchen. The kitchen opens up to a covered back deck and spacious garden with a green lawn and tropical landscaping throughout. Two bedrooms and one bathroom. Spacious master bedroom has a queen bed and plenty of cupboard space. Second bedroom features a double bed and single bunk. Bathroom has a shower, vanity and toilet. DOWNSTAIRS has been features a fully self-contained one bedroom unit with a separate entrance and its own side patio, all on one level. Fully equipped modern kitchen, one bathroom, one bedroom with double bed, and a single daybed in the lounge as well as a sofa bed. Downstairs sleeps a max of 3-5 guests. BEDDING SUMMARY 3 Bedrooms, 2 Bathrooms. Six (6) beds in total: one (1) queen bed, two (2) double beds, one (1) single bed, one (1) single futon, and one (1) double sofa bed. UPSTAIRS: master BDR with queen bed, 2nd bedroom with double bed. Single futon chair in lounge room that converts into a single bed. DOWNSTAIRS: 3rd BDR with double bed, lounge with single daybed and sofa bed. EQUIPPED WITH MODERN CONVENIENCES Aircon in upstairs lounge rooms, standing fans in bedrooms, Free WIFI, Vittoria coffee machine (pods available at nearby Woolworths here and we have got your covered for the first days), library of books, games and DVDs are available for you to enjoy to keep the whole family happy. Freshly washed high quality linen is included. Just bring your own beach towels please. WALKING DISTANCE TO BEACH, LAKE AND SHOPS This location has it all. Beach, the tidal lake (Lake Cathie), cafe, shops, local tavern and restaurants are all walking distance. Middle Rock beach is right across the street accessible via a 50 metre bush track, so you can leave the car at home and even little ones can just walk. Middle Rock surf break is a 5 minute walk. The lake at the end of the street is perfect for little ones too and a delight for fishing and paddling when the lakes water level is sufficient. Golf courses, wineries and National Park all a 10minute drive. Port Macquarie town is a 15 minute drive. Caramels coffee shop, Woolworths, local bakery, taverns and restaurants 5 min level walk or 1 min by car. OUTDOOR AND SMALL/MEDIUM INDOOR PETS WELCOME Pets are allowed upstairs only where you find a fully fenced back yard and outdoor covered back deck which adjoins the kitchen; great for dogs. Pets to be kept outdoors. Indoor small/medium well behaved pets are allowed upstairs only with pre-approval from owner. No large and heavy shedding dogs please as they can jump the fence. Kindly keep pets off furniture and beds and clean up after your furry friends. OTHER Base price for 6 guests No party policy applies Property not suitable for school groups / under 21 years of age groups. Need to walk up one flight of outdoor stairs to reach the upstairs level. Guest access You are booking the whole house, both levels. Guests can park in the carport, on drive way and on the street in front of the house. Other things to note Pet friendly. Extra pet charges may apply, normally count as 1x extra person. CANCELLATIONS AND COVID Standard Airbnb cancellation policies apply to your booking. Once the free cancellation period has elapsed we will apply more flexible rules if your cancellation is related government enforced COVID lockdowns and travel restrictions: 1. Change your booking free of charge to a future date. This is the preferred option. If the new dates are more expensive, you pay the difference between old and new rates OR 2. Cancel your booking whereby we apply more lenient cancellation rules. We generally charge 25% (instead of the typical 50%-100% loss of monies within 30-7 days prior to arrival) with a minimum of $200 to cover our costs plus any commissions that Airbnb still charges us.
