Situated at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac, this luxurious newly renovated self-contained studio sits behind the sand dunes of Waimairi Beach. Only a 5 minute drive to New Brighton pier, the He Puna Taimoana hot pools, shops, library, swimming pool, sauna, steam room and spa at QE2, or a choice of Golf courses. An easy 15 minutes to the city centre by car or 25 minutes to the airport. The space Superbly comfortable, Rimu Queen bed with highest quality mattress, sheepskin underlay, 100% cotton bedding. Goose and duck down duvets and pillows to assure you of a quiet restful night’s sleep. The self-contained studio is newly renovated in a modern Mediterranean style, with clean, bright interiors and all the comfort you need for a luxurious and relaxed beach stay. Underfloor heating throughout ensures you keep warm and cosy . The kitchenette has a microwave, induction cook-top, George Forman grill, Nespresso, under bench fridge, pots, pans, jug, toaster, crockery, cutlery and most necessities. No oven is available. The bathroom is fully white marble-tiled, with a separate shower, vanity and toilet. Towels, beach towels, soap, shampoo and conditioner are all supplied. Indoor and outdoor dining seating and tables ensure you are catered for rain or sunshine. The studio is on the ground floor, and is self-contained and private. We live upstairs and are happy to offer any help to make your stay at Cockle Lane the best it can be. Guest access Entire self contained Studio on the ground floor with your own access. Other things to note We have Surf boards and body boards for you to borrow free of charge. We are happy to give you some tips if you are a beginner. We are surrounded by Golf courses, forest walking and biking tracks. Anything you need always feel free to ask as we are eager to make your stay memorable. The Beach cafe is a two minute walk away and is open for brunch, coffee and lunch. There are many walking and biking trails at your doorstep through the dunes, through the forest and on the beach. Netflix and a Nespresso machine are also provided for some relaxation of the less active variety! There are two studios at Cockle Lane Beach House listed on AirBnB, this listing is for Studio Two. The studios are both on the ground floor and we live upstairs. If you book both studios it is suitable for a group of two couples and/or up to four people.
