Bay House at Oyster Beach

Beginning 2024 all of our Oyster Beach vacation homes will have a monthly minimum. The east wing of an historic home by the beach of Humboldt Bay. Nestled in a eucalyptus grove 15 minutes from Arcata and Eureka, Bay House has soaring ceilings, vintage style and views for days in a rustic and romantic setting. The space Bay House is located on the 22 acre Oyster Beach, part of Humboldt Bay Social Club. Humboldt Bay Social Club is a boutique hotel, event space, Lobby Bar, and Jetty Restaurant. Bay House was originally the master bedroom and library for a ranch family's home on the 100 year old property. It is the east wing of the Ranch House. It has a private entrance and is separated from the Ranch House by hotel-style double locked doors. Guests share the fire-pit and private trail to the beach with Ranch House guests. Mid-century furnishings, and antique Wedgwood stove, and a subway tiled shower complete the vintage feel of the suite. The Bay House sleeps 4. One bedroom has a king-sized bed, sitting area and overlooks the bay and the eucalyptus grove. The other, smaller bedroom has a queen-sized bed and looks directly out onto the porch and the bay and eucalyptus grove. Guest access The Bathhouse at Oyster Beach is open to all guests of Humboldt Bay Social Club. The Bathhouse features an outdoor shower and sink and two clawfoot tubs, so you can soak under the stars. Each cabin at the Social Club is outfitted with amenities to make your stay at the beach as relaxed as possible- beach chairs, towels,blankets, a cooler and ice bucket for beverages. The Lobby Bar of the Social Club is open! Check our website for current hours. You will find a coupon for the Lobby Bar in your unit upon check-in. In addition, guest are welcome to use the cornhole, fire pits, picnic tables and grills at the Social Club at anytime. Other things to note Please let us know if you plan on bringing a pet. There is an extra $35 pet cleaning fee that you will be charged. If you bring a pet and do not let us know you may incur extra charges. Please refer to our pet policy under house rules.
