PLEASE NOTE- I cannot Airbnb to people without reviews. Lovely escape 13 miles north of NYC in sweet small hidden village on Hudson. A wonderful place to explore the Hudson Valley. House sits on 1/3 acre on quiet street near bike trails, a walk down hill to the village of Piermont & Hudson River & Tallman Mtn State park. Flooded w light, clean, full kitchen, very comfortable, front porch, large yard with grape arbor and gas grill. River Vu Fall Winter Spring. The space There is an expansive fall, winter and spring view of the Hudson River from the living and dining areas, with spectacular sunrises. View gets hidden by trees when summer is in full bloom. One or 2 bedrooms. Each with double bed. New linens and sheets and amenities for your stay. There is a third bedroom possible for long term stays of one month or more. Inside the place is homey, very sunny, with good size rooms, tidy and unique filled with artwork, no clutter and very warm and comfortable. Good for a family, a couple or individual. Visitors to NYC or those wishing to get away real close and explore the wonderful Hudson River Valley, will be pleasantly surprised at the proximity to both. Near MetroNorth train, bus lines or bring your car. The bedrooms have double/full bed, closet space, and bureau – simple designed for quiet. (The 3rd bedroom, is NOT available except on request and for long-term use only, has Queen size bed and large closet and bureau, very sunny.) Please note cancellations few years ago listed were a result of taking care of my mom. All renters were timely notified and very understanding. My mom is okay now and my home is back on Airbnb! Located on a quiet street. Kitchen is fully equipped. Bathroom has shower and tub. Towels are provided. Extra bathroom in basement is also available for one month or more stays. Backyard is large with a grape arbor, picnic table, deck with lounge chairs and great place to get sun, read or roll down the hill. Gas BBQ is available for your use as well. Front porch has view of Hudson River and may be used for dining as well. There is a small table that you may use to set for dinner. Guest access You will have access to the full house, 1 or 2 bedroom (3rd bedrooms for one or more month stays, only), private bathroom with tub and shower, equipped kitchen, front porch and yard and full backyard, including picnic tables, deck and BBQ. Other things to note Piermont is a very unique and pretty village. Rockland County has a mix of suburban and rural towns with small villages dotting the Hudson River, Piermont is one of the small hidden gems. It has a beautiful marsh, state park with hiking trails, bike paths, kayak rentals, small village with a lot of very good restaurants. Travel north of Piermont about 40 miles into the Hudson Valley, farms, small towns, art galleries and the woods. Travel south and New York City is a mere 45 minutes away. New York City is a 45 minute car ride or by using public transportation, about 45 - 50 minutes. There is a Couch/Red andTan bus line that leaves from the village of Piermont, every hour, down hill and within walking distance from the house. That bus brings you to Port Authority Bus Terminal on 42 Street. MetroNorth Train is across the river, this brings you into Grand Central, trains leave every 30 minutes or so. And, you are in the southern part of the Hudson Valley, 3 miles nearby is the river village of Nyack, within a 20 minute drive is Harriman State park which includes well marked hiking trails including the Appalachian Trail, the Long Trail is reachable by foot.
