The Berry weekender (or midweek stay) is situated where Alexander Berry established the first Berry village in the early 1800's. This studio style bungalow is set in the green garden of one of Berry's most historic cottages - built as the residence of the first Berry Policeman, and is only about 5 minutes walk along Queen Street to the cafes, pubs, restaurants and shops in the Berry township, and around 10 minutes walk from the Berry Railway Station. From your private verandah you might see the platypus, water dragons, wild duck, fish, skinks, possums and many varieties of bird that the creek and the tropical plants and features of the garden attract. Or take your car to visit one of many local wineries, beaches, swimming pools, townships, bushwalks or coastal walk only minutes away. Jervis Bay with its famous beaches such as Greenpatch, Murrays Beach. Hyams Beach and other lovely swimming and picnic spots, such as the Currarong Rockpool are approx 40 mins drive away.
