The Guardafuentes Shelter owes its name to the sympathetic Pyrenean triton, amphibian that is known by the shepherds as a guardian because according to legends it protected the purity of the waters. In addition it is also the name of the bar in Madrid (TRITON), where it all began. The Guardafuentes Hostel offers you a modern accommodation inaugurated in 2009, after seven years of thorough restoration and extension of an old boardwalk (haystack and cattle stable) located on the outskirts of Buerba. It has 18 places distributed in two rooms of 9 places. Our small capacity makes it ideal for groups of friends, families and athletes to occupy it exclusively. In addition to its unbeatable views of the Pyrenees, it has two lounges, meadows, gazebo, tent, grill, swimming pool, large terraces and library. The establishment offers a restaurant-grill service and certified mountain guide and ravines, for the orientation of activities in its spectacular surroundings.
