STR2021-12 The space The Cimarron Residence is a professionally managed and designed one-bedroom home in a quiet Ridgway neighborhood just off Main Street. The adobe-style architecture and natural finishes create a warm, inspiring and comfortable space that works well for both short visits and longer stays. Interiors High ceilings with local log beams and large windows bring in natural light and views of the Cimarron Range. Living Area: Two chairs and bench seating at the gas fireplace, plus a sectional sofa, open to the dining area and kitchen. Bedroom: Premium king bed with quality linens, blackout curtains, ample closet storage and a Samsung Frame TV. Bathroom: Spacious, spa-like bathroom with adobe-style walk-in shower, double-sink vanity and fresh towels. Kitchen & Dining: Fully equipped chef's kitchen with gas range and oven, microwave, wine fridge and dishwasher, extensive cookware, and a dining island that seats four. With its views and space, this kitchen is a treat to cook in. Outdoor Space The covered porch is set up for year-round use, with a dining table, bar ledge and seating around a gas fire pit. Built-in heaters extend outdoor time into the cooler seasons. The hot tub is an amazing way to relax and take in the mountain views after a day of adventure. Location Walk to Ridgway's shops, restaurants and local trails. Orvis Hot Springs and Ridgway State Park are a short drive, Ouray and its hot springs are 15 minutes, Montrose Airport is 30 minutes, and Telluride is about 45 minutes for skiing, hiking or events. A washer and dryer are available on the lower level in a space known as the garage/storage room. We keep some personal items in this space, but guests are welcome to access it for laundry. A dedicated parking space is available just off the street. Other things to note Access & Parking: The home has a dedicated parking space just off the street. Access is straightforward, but winter guests should be prepared for snow and ice. AWD/4WD is recommended in snowy months. Hot Tub & Fire Pit: Both are for guest use. Please follow posted instructions for safe use, and note that quiet hours apply after 10 pm out of respect for neighbors. Heating/Cooling: The home has radiant floor heating, a mini split and a gas fireplace, plus supplemental heaters on the porch. The mini-split A/C is in the living room. Fans are provided in summer, and the bedroom stays cool when the door between the bathroom and bedroom is left open. Work & Connectivity: Wi-Fi is reliable for streaming and remote work. Speed test screenshot available upon request. Events & Visitors: The property is not suitable for large gatherings or parties. Registered guests only unless approved in advance. Wildlife & Nature: Being in the mountains, you may see deer, bears, or other wildlife. Please keep food indoors and secure trash. Extended Stays: For stays longer than a week, optional cleaning/linen refreshes can be arranged for an additional fee.
