As you may notice from the extensive list of amenities, every effort has been made to ensure your comfort during your stay. Cold, purified water in the kitchen, complimentary grounds for a morning espresso, a handheld shower head, and empty space in the cupboards & fridge. Please don't hesitate to ask for something that would make your time here more enjoyable. Private bedroom; shared bathroom with the other occasional Airbnb guest; full house privileges in the common areas downstairs, including the kitchen, dining, living, laundry, & patio areas. We live less than a mile away, so we make every effort to greet you in person and briefly show you around the house. During your stay, you may see us periodically throughout the week as we maintain the yards, prepare rooms for new guests, etc. Please feel free to approach us if you need anything at all. Otherwise, we will give you your space. Conveniently located on a quiet street; around the corner from a small market; down the street from Arco Gas; and less than 2 minutes away from several supermarkets, Home Depot, Starbucks, Denny's, Subway, Baskin Robbins, and numerous other familiar retail & restaurant chains. Nearby neighborhood parks make a great place for jogging. Public bus stops around the corner; 99 freeway 1 mile away; Modesto City County Airport 3 miles away; Amtrak station 8 miles away; Lyft drivers tend to cover this area well on weekends. COVID-19 HEALTH & SAFETY NOTICE The following practices allow us to continue providing a safe, healthy, & comfortable experience for you & all of our guests, especially those traveling internationally or in the medical profession. Thank you for your cooperation to help reduce the continuing impact of this outbreak. WHAT WE ARE DOING - Wearing a face mask & practicing social distancing at all times while on the property, and limiting our visits to weekly maintenance & upkeep. For the safety of of everyone in the household, we continue to meet all guests in person on arrival, but the greeting will be brief. All other communications will be through Airbnb messaging. - ALL surfaces (including walls, carpets, drapes, windows, furniture, appliances, decor, remotes, doorknobs, etc.) are treated with virucidal disinfectant (EPA-approved emerging viral pathogens claim) during our routine cleaning. - Spacing out guest departures & arrivals for the same room by more than 48 hours. - All linens & towels in the room are laundered afterward, so additional items are now only available upon request. - Staying current with the most recent travel & health advisories, and Airbnb requirements. - Both of us, as well as both of our long-term renters, have been fully vaccinated. WHAT WE NEED YOU TO DO: - Read & observe our House Rules before booking, & our House Manual before you arrive. - Social interaction with other members of the household is prohibited, and you must wear a face mask & practice safe social distancing for any other limited interaction. - Although federal, state, & county safety guidelines are being updated on a frequent basis, all guests are responsible for staying informed, and adhering to them when leaving the house. Please let us know if you need referrals to current resources. - The kitchen & bathrooms have been supplied with disinfectant. Please spray sink areas & faucet handles after use, and feel free to use on other surfaces around the house as you see fit. Guests staying 7 days or more are required to clean the bathroom from top to bottom at least once/week. - Please wash your hands thoroughly for at least 20 seconds before & after using shared areas of the house. - While washing hands is the best form of reducing the spread of germs, each bedroom has been supplied with EPA-approved hand sanitizer, as an added line of defense. - Please cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue, then throw the tissue in the trash. Every room in the house has been supplied with a box of disposable tissues. - Please cancel the remainder of your reservation if you test positive, or develop symptoms of fever, cough, shortness of breath, fatigue, muscle aches, new loss of taste/smell, sore throat, congestion or runny nose, nausea or vomiting, and/or diarrhea. We will refund you for all cancelled nights of your stay. - Please report any symptoms exhibited by other members of the household to us immediately.
